Celestial Seasonings was founded more than 40 years ago with one goal: to provide delicious, high quality teas that are good for our customers and good for the world.
We think it’s important to share with you the steps we take to ensure that our teas are of the highest quality, deliver the great taste you expect and are produced in a way that protects the Earth’s natural resources. We want to offer the best products and help our consumers make the best choices for themselves and their families.
Seed
We select only the highest quality herbs, teas and botanicals that have been grown according to Earth-friendly practices. Our farming partners meet strict standards for purity, quality and consistency by using sustainable agricultural practices that are better for the land, produce better ingredients and result in better teas.
Ingredients Testing
All incoming raw ingredients are tested for purity and quality.
We rigorously test our raw materials to ensure that all of our products adhere to strict industry standards and our own “gold standard” for high product quality. Every incoming shipment of ingredients is thoroughly tested. Working with outside experts, we continually evaluate and refine our already stringent testing protocol to address changes in environmental and agricultural practices.
